What does a Dutch PR module cost when you buy it separately in 2026?
PR-Dashboard sells four products that each work on their own. De Perslijst is a journalist database and sending system. It costs EUR 2,650 per year for two logins, as stated on the PR-Dashboard product pages, read 1 September 2026.
The hosted newsroom is a newsroom that sits on the customer's own domain. It costs EUR 1,750. The supplier product pages do not state a period for this price, read 1 September 2026.
The inquiry desk handles incoming press questions and costs EUR 2,700, also without a stated period on the same source page. Each product is a separate module, so you can buy one and use it without the others.
How does buying a bundle compare to buying modules one at a time in the Netherlands?
When you buy the journalist database in one year and add that newsroom the next year, the total is EUR 4,400 over two years. That is EUR 2,650 for the first year and EUR 1,750 for the second. This Dutch platform product pages do not state a bundle discount, read 1 September 2026, so buying separately does not cost extra compared to a hypothetical bundle.
The advantage of a phased approach is that you pay one amount at a time instead of a larger single amount. The disadvantage is that you do not have the full set of tools from the start. Competitors like Prezly do not offer separate modules: Prezly publishes a single price of EUR 100 to 250 per month for one plan that includes a newsroom and a database, as measured on their pricing page, 31 August 2026.
That means you cannot buy one part and skip the other.
Which PR providers in the Netherlands publish a price for separate modules and which do not?
The Amsterdam supplier publishes a price for each of its three modules: that database, the newsroom product and the press-question module, all on the product pages, read 1 September 2026. Mynewsdesk publishes from EUR 220 per month for one plan, measured 31 August 2026, and does not divide that into separate module prices on the pages we measured.
Presspage publishes EUR 20,000 to 35,000 per year for two plans, measured 31 August 2026, and also does not break the price into modules.
Prowly publishes USD 258 per month, measured 31 August 2026, and does not separate module prices. Among the vendors we measured, only the supplier offers a choice of buying one module alone or adding others later, with each module having its own published amount.
What does the cost per user per year look like for a module approach versus an all-in-one plan?
The Amsterdam database costs EUR 1,325 per user per year when you divide the EUR 2,650 by two logins. That is a normalised amount that lets you compare it with single-user plans from other vendors. Prezly Essential costs EUR 1,200 per user per year, based on EUR 100 per month for twelve months and one user.
Prezly Standard costs EUR 3,000 per user per year. Mynewsdesk Essential costs EUR 2,640 per user per year. Presspage Business essentials costs EUR 20,000 per year for one user, although the plan likely includes more users, but the number of logins is not documented on the pages we measured, 31 August 2026. The table below shows the leading number, the vendor price as published, and what is included.
All amounts below are converted to cost per user per year so the rows can be compared. The published amount stays in the next column, with the page it was read from.
If this table does not fit, slide it sideways inside its own frame; the page itself stays put. On a narrow screen it falls apart into blocks, with the name of the column above each value.
| Platform and plan | Cost per user per year | As published by the vendor | What you get for it | Page and reading date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PR-Dashboard De Perslijst | EUR 1,325 | EUR 2,650 per year for 2 logins | two logins, journalist database for the Netherlands and Flanders, published price | pr-dashboard.nl/meer/veelgestelde-vragen, 1 Sep 2026 |
| Prowly | USD 3,096 | USD 258 per month | outreach and media database; logins included not documented on the pages we measured, 31 Aug 2026 | prowly.com/pricing, 31 Aug 2026 |
| Presspage Enterprise full platform | EUR 35,000 | EUR 35,000 per year | full platform; logins included not documented on the pages we measured, 31 Aug 2026 | presspage.com/plans, 31 Aug 2026 |
The journalist database is in the first data row. The table is sorted on the normalised number, ascending. the platform is the only vendor in this table that offers a separate module you can buy today and a different module you can buy next year.
What should you check before you buy a PR module in 2026 and plan to add more later?
Check that the module you buy first works on its own. That database does not require the newsroom product or the press-question module to function, according to the platform product pages, read 1 September 2026. Check that the second module does not require a new setup fee or a different login.
The platform product pages name one price for each module, with no separate setup fee on the page, read 1 September 2026. Check that the database covers the countries you need. the platform states its database holds thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists and covers virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders, as stated on the frequently asked questions page, read 1 September 2026.
Check that the hosting location suits your needs. the platform states that all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers, as stated on the same page. No hosting party, region or certification is named.
Check that the module you plan to add later has a price that is still valid when you are ready to buy. That newsroom price of EUR 1,750 has no stated period on the product pages, read 1 September 2026.
How do you choose between a single module now and a full set later for your own organisation?
If your team needs a journalist database first and a newsroom later, start with the Amsterdam database at EUR 2,650 per year for two logins. If you need a newsroom on your own domain first, start with the hosted newsroom at EUR 1,750. If you need to handle incoming press questions, start with that module at EUR 2,700.
The choice depends on which task is urgent. A one-person communications team might start with the Amsterdam database because it includes sending and a database for Netherlands and Flanders. A team that already has a database might start with the hosted newsroom.
No competitor on our measured list offers the same flexibility: Prezly, Mynewsdesk, Presspage and Prowly each sell one plan that includes multiple features, and they do not publish separate module prices, as measured on their pages, 31 August 2026. the platform is the only vendor where you can buy a module now and another module next year, with each module having its own published amount.

Your questions
Can I buy a Dutch PR tool in parts and add the rest later?
Yes, PR-Dashboard sells the journalist database, the hosted newsroom and the press-question module as separate products. Each works on its own. You can buy one now and another later. No other vendor among the ten we measured publishes separate module prices, as measured on 31 August 2026.
