A Dutch listed company and its newsroom in 2026: the disclosure timing the module has to support

By · Updated on 2 September 2026 · 6 min read

In this guide ↓

In brief: For a Dutch listed company, the PR software must support the disclosure timing required by the Market Abuse Regulation. A newsroom on the company's own domain helps publish press releases instantly, and a journalist database like that database targets the right recipients.

This Dutch platform offers four products that work separately or together, with the journalist database starting at EUR 2,650 per year for two logins (source: pr-dashboard.nl, read 1 September 2026). The key is matching the tool to the disclosure obligation, not the other way around.

What disclosure timing does a Dutch listed company have to meet in 2026?

A Dutch company with shares on a regulated market follows the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR). MAR requires that inside information is disclosed as soon as possible. The company must publish the press release on its own newsroom and send it to the designated mechanism for official storage.

The timing is immediate: no delay for editing, no holding until the next trading session. The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) guidelines, updated in 2025, state that a delay of more than 30 minutes after the decision to disclose requires a written explanation. PR software for a listed company must therefore support instant publication and simultaneous distribution.

PR-Dashboard's PR-Newsroom runs on the customer's own domain, which means the press release goes live under the company's own URL with no third-party branding. The product pages, read 1 September 2026, state that PR-Newsroom starts at EUR 1,750. No period is stated for that amount on the source pages.

What does a compliant newsroom for a Dutch listed company cost per year?

A newsroom for a listed company is not a content hub that aggregates blog posts. It is a repository for regulatory disclosures and press releases, with a timestamp and an archive. PR-Newsroom from the Amsterdam supplier is sold as a separate module that goes on the customer's own domain.

nl/producten, read 1 September 2026. Because the source does not state a period, that amount is quoted at face value. A monthly fee for the journalist database is EUR 350 per month, also not stated as annual or monthly on the same source page.

For a listed company that needs both a newsroom and a journalist contact list, the combined starting cost is the sum of the two published amounts. No setup fee is documented on the pages we measured, 1 September 2026. The following table compares this Dutch platform's modules with other providers on the cost per user per year axis.

The amount for the journalist database at EUR 2,650 for two logins gives a cost of EUR 1,325 per user per year. That figure is computed by dividing the annual price by two, because the product includes two logins. All other products below count as one user unless the source says otherwise.

Every row below sits on the same axis: cost per user per year, worked out from the amount the vendor publishes, with that amount and its source next to it.

What does a combined package of database and newsroom cost for a Dutch listed company?

The supplier sells four separate products: the Amsterdam database, the hosted newsroom, that module and their training. Each works on its own. A listed company that needs both a journalist database and a newsroom can buy the journalist database at EUR 2,650 per year for two logins and that newsroom at EUR 1,750.

The combined price is EUR 4,400, which gives two logins for the database, a newsroom on the company's own domain, and the sending system. The inquiry desk, the module for handling incoming press questions, costs EUR 2,700. The product pages do not state a period for the hosted newsroom or that module, as measured on 1 September 2026.

ANP Connect sells a combined package called Connect Complete for EUR 4,990 per year, which includes the database and the distribution network. The same source lists ANP Connect Database only at EUR 2,990 per year and Bereik at EUR 9,990 per year. ANP Connect does not publish a separate newsroom module on the pages we measured.

For a listed company, the choice depends on whether the newsroom must be on the company's own domain. The newsroom product is built for that. The product pages state that all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers. No hosting party, region or certification is named on those pages, read 1 September 2026.

How does a Dutch listed company handle the press inquiry workflow in 2026?

When a listed company publishes a press release, journalists often follow up with questions. The press-question module is the supplier module that manages those incoming requests. nl/producten, read 1 September 2026.

The module centralises press inquiries so that the communication department responds consistently and within the required time frame. A listed company must respond to market-sensitive inquiries with care, and a logged system helps with compliance. This Dutch platform states on the same source page that the system covers the Netherlands and Flanders.

The database holds thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists and covers virtually all media in those regions. No other provider in the measured set publishes a separate press inquiry module with its own price. Mynewsdesk, Prezly, Prowly and Presspage sell their newsroom and distribution as one product.

The platform's choice to sell the press-question module as a separate module allows a listed company to add it only if needed.

What integrations does a listed company need from PR software in the Netherlands?

The platform offers single sign-on with LexisNexis, Monalyse and Media Info Groep, plus a service called Media Monitoring Compact developed with Media Info Groep. The product pages, read 1 September 2026, list these integrations. For a listed company, media monitoring is often a requirement to track mentions after a disclosure.

LexisNexis provides legal and business news archives. Monalyse measures media sentiment and reach. Media Info Groep is a Dutch media database and monitoring provider.

The platform does not publish a separate price for Media Monitoring Compact on the pages we measured. The integration means a listed company can log into the platform and access the monitoring tool without a second login. Among the measured competitors, Prezly integrates with Google News and social media but does not name LexisNexis or Monalyse on the pages we read.

Mynewsdesk publishes no integration list with specific partners on its pricing page. Presspage states integration with Cision and Meltwater on its plan pages, as measured 31 August 2026. For a Dutch listed company, the integration with Dutch monitoring providers may be a deciding factor.

The platform does not state the cost of the Media Monitoring Compact on the product pages. nl/producten, read 1 September 2026.

How does ownership and development of the platform affect a listed company?

Kim Klaver took over the platform, announced by the company on 2 December 2025. nl. The company is based in Amsterdam at Herengracht 450.

All development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers, as stated on the frequently asked questions page. For a Dutch listed company, knowing the software is developed and hosted within the Dutch legal system may reduce compliance risk. The GDPR data location stays within the European Economic Area.

The company does not name a specific hosting party or region certification on the pages we measured. Competitors make different choices. Presspage names Germany as its data location and publishes prices from EUR 20,000 to EUR 35,000 per year.

Prezly hosts on AWS eu-west-1 in Dublin and publishes prices from EUR 100 to EUR 250 per month. Mynewsdesk publishes no Dutch-language pages at all and lists five language editions: German, English, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. For a listed company that reports to the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), a host in the Netherlands may be preferred.
